Marcelo H. Katz is a Certified Public Accountant who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Financial Management from Universidad del CEMA and has completed postgraduate studies in Information Systems at UBA. He has extensive professional experience in corporate finance, auditing, business advisory, banking, and risk management.
He has been a partner at Russell Bedford Argentina since November 2025, working in Corporate Finance, Audit, and Business Advisory. Previously, he was a partner at PKF Argentina for more than 20 years, leading the Corporate Finance Division and serving as a member of the International Corporate Finance Committee. He also developed the Hospitality Consulting practice in Argentina, Brazil, and other Latin American markets.
Earlier in his career, he was the partner responsible for Banking & Corporate Finance at BDO and an associate consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton in the banking sector. His professional background includes senior positions at Banco Ciudad de Buenos Aires and the Central Bank of Argentina, where he was involved in risk management, supervision, intervention, and liquidation processes involving financial institutions.
He furthered his education through specialized studies in hotel development and hospitality trends at MODUL University in Vienna, Austria. He is a member of the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of the City of Buenos Aires, the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of the Province of Santa Fe, and the Argentine Forum of External Audit Firms.
He has also taught at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires and published articles on banking, financing, risk, and economics in specialized media and journals.
