Juan Manuel Cuenca is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a degree in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (UCA). He has over 22 years of professional experience specializing in transfer pricing and international taxation, with extensive experience advising multinational groups and Argentine companies on strategic consulting, tax compliance, and international transactions.
He is a partner at Russell Bedford Argentina, where he has led the Transfer Pricing practice since November 2022, coordinating professional teams and projects at local, regional, and global levels. Previously, he spent more than 18 years at Deloitte Argentina, where he worked on consulting, planning, tax compliance, and economic analysis of related-party transactions, advising domestic and multinational groups across various industries.
His professional practice encompasses the design, implementation, and review of transfer pricing policies and intragroup planning, comparability studies, international documentation, and technical assistance in tax audits and disputes. He also has experience in financial transactions, intragroup services, intangible assets, royalties, and business restructurings. Throughout his career, he has advised companies in sectors such as energy, oil and gas, agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, automotive, technology, financial services, and manufacturing.
He furthered his academic education through an exchange program at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Rouen, France, through which he earned a Master’s Degree in European Management. He regularly attends meetings of the Transfer Pricing Committee of the Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies (AAEF) as an observer and participates in national and international courses, seminars, and training activities on transfer pricing, international regulations, and OECD Guidelines.
