Julián Laski is a Public Accountant who graduated summa cum laude from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from ULB in Brussels, Belgium. He has extensive experience in auditing, assurance, internal control, risk management, and consulting for public and private sector organizations, having worked on projects across numerous Latin American countries.
He is a partner at Russell Bedford Argentina and previously served as a partner at PKF Audisur for more than 27 years. Throughout his career, he has participated in auditing and consulting projects across Latin America, including initiatives financed by international organizations such as the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the European Commission, and the Inter-American Foundation.
His professional expertise encompasses auditing, assurance, internal control, risk management, public financial management, corporate governance, and the application of international auditing and financial reporting standards, as well as International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAI). He has audited and advised companies regulated by the Central Bank of Argentina, the National Securities Commission (CNV), and INAES, among other regulatory bodies, and has served on audit committees and statutory oversight committees of financial institutions and other private companies.
His academic background includes a Master’s degree in Local Governance and Development from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Spain), as well as postgraduate studies in Management, Institutional Evaluation, and Government Economics. He is an IRCA-recognized lead auditor of quality management systems (United Kingdom) and holds the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) awarded by the Institute of Internal Auditors in the United States. He also holds international certifications in International Standards on Auditing and International Public Sector Accounting Standards, both awarded by ACCA (United Kingdom).
He has extensive academic experience teaching in on-campus and online master’s programs at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), UNITEC (Honduras), Universidad Tecnológica del Perú (UTP), and Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE). He also teaches in UNITEC’s Doctoral Program in Economics and Business and has delivered lectures and conferences at universities across Latin America. He is the author of books and specialized publications on organizational management, accounting, auditing, control, and risk management.
