Juan Bettinelli is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the School of Economics at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), with over 25 years of professional experience in auditing processes and business advisory for significant international and national groups.
During his professional career, he has led auditing processes in both multinational and national companies, public and private, across various industries.
Likewise, he serves as an advisor to the Boards of various companies in the insurance sector and is also an advisor to the Accounting Commission of the Union of Workers Compensation Insurers (UART).
Among his main roles and duties, he has been involved in directing external audits of financial statements; leading audits of PLA/FT and fraud prevention; developing internal audit processes; leading process improvement, reengineering, and streamlining projects; consulting on risk design and evaluation; creating mappings, manuals, policies, and procedures; implementing and reviewing the enforcement of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act; advising on Mergers and Acquisitions; applying International Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP; providing accounting advice to business chambers; reviewing and analyzing reporting and management reports; Corporate Audit; and auditing quality reviews for Latin America on behalf of Russell Bedford International.
He is registered with the Registry of External Auditors of the Argentine Superintendency of Insurance (SSN) and the Argentine Securities Commission (CNV). Additionally, he is an Independent External Reviewer for the Financial Information Unit (UIF) and an Audit Quality Control Auditor for Russell Bedford International.
He has authored numerous articles published in both specialized media and in-company distribution.
